Admixtures - Web Platform
CEMEX is a global building materials company based in Mexico. It produces, distributes, and sells cement, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and other construction materials. The company focuses on sustainable construction solutions and infrastructure development.
Admixtures was one of the many platforms developed during the digital transformation journey - with a focus on “Paperless” initiative.
Achievements
- Provided coaching for compliance on CEMEX Design Language, correct use of UI components and branding materials
- Onboarded various stakeholders and got their buy-in on the Design Thinking Framework
- Covered multiple business scenarios through user-flows, low-fidelity designs and high-fidelity deliverables

Design Language System
As the first member of CEMEX’s Design Language Team, I led the creation of their global design system—transforming fragmented digital experiences into a unified, scalable, and brand-consistent ecosystem.
What started as a design initiative became a strategic asset in building better user experiences company-wide.
Achievements
- I led an audit on the current digital ecosystem, product designers deliverables and frontend outputs, as key designer.
- Pionnered the responsive design rules, core styles and the SSOF (single source of truth)
- Merit in establishing the Design Systems Team as a distinct unit
- Increased productivity - on average new tools and websites shipped on half the time which was needed before
- 3x faster on-boarding times with 3rd party vendors, agencies and contractors
